We’ve run professional cycle mechanics courses since 2003 over three different levels where Level 1 would cover tyre repairs along with bike set up, cleaning and lube, wheel and tyre fitting and basic brake and gear adjustments.

You can fit puncture proof tyres which can avoid most punctures. The downside is they’re heavy, costly and difficult to fit compared with standard tyres.
