How it works

    We ask a few brief questions about the make, model and battery type, so we arrive with the right tools and spares.

  2. We cycle to you

    Never a motor vehicle. Our service is as green as the bikes we ride, anywhere from Shoreham to Peacehaven.

  3. Quote before we start

    We check your e-bike over on the spot and give you a no-obligation quote. Work only begins once you approve it.

  4. Parts if needed

    Occasionally an extra part is required. We return with it and complete the job at no extra call-out cost.

    Drive unit and console checked for faults, error codes and loose connections.

    Checked, inflated to the right pressure, and any punctures repaired on the spot.

    Adjusted with extra care for the added weight and higher speeds of an e-bike.

    Indexing and derailleur set up for clean, smooth shifting under motor load.

  • Chain

    Cleaned and lubricated using biodegradable products, never harsh solvents.

  • Full safety check

    A complete once-over, plus advice on caring for your battery and motor.

  • Riding position

    Saddle, bars and controls adjusted so the bike genuinely fits you.

E-bike questions, answered

Do you service all e-bike brands?

We work on most major brands as well as conversion kits. Tell us the make, model and battery type when you call and we will confirm we have the right tools and spares before setting off.

Can you repair or replace a battery?

We carry out battery health checks and fix connection faults on the spot. Cell-level repairs and replacements are assessed case by case, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.

Do I need to be at home during the service?

Only to give us access to the bike and approve the quote. Many customers leave the bike accessible and approve the work over the phone.

How long does an e-bike service take?

Most services are completed in a single visit. If a part is needed we come back with it, and there is no extra call-out charge for the second visit.

Is an e-bike service more expensive than a standard one?

E-bike work is charged on a time basis, because battery and motor systems vary so much between bikes. You always get the price before any work starts.

The only e-bike service which is truly green in this environmentally conscious city of ours — all our repair products are biodegradable, parts are recycled where possible, and we always arrive by bicycle, not a van.

Repairs are carried out by experienced bicycle mechanics. We don’t use volunteers or inexperienced bike mechanics. All services are guaranteed for two weeks, and there is no extra charge for second visits should that on very rare occasions prove necessary.
