What we need from you
Two things, and both are non-negotiable:
– A power source within 25 metres of the bike. The cutting equipment needs mains power, so a garage, a café, a friendly shop or an outdoor socket will do.
– Proof that the bike is yours. We’ll ask for photo ID and take a photograph of you with the bike before we cut. This isn’t bureaucracy — it’s the only thing that stops this service being useful to bike thieves, and we won’t make an exception.
